The Wild Swan Community
Community Members involved in day-to-day running of Wild Swan Flowing River Qigong, who all give their time entirely freely, helping our wonderful community grow and keep running smoothly, often behind the scenes:
Teresa Grimsditch
Teresa has been with our community since the first Summer.
Teresa is a Wild Swan Qigong Teacher, also training with Holden Qigong, deciding to train after being introduced to the ancient art and having practised with our community for a while.
She jumped straight in taking large sessions, often with over 50 people! Most daunting!! Particularly as many teachers never teach this many people at once ever!
As a Professional Teacher with many years of experience herself already, this shines through in her incredible ability to share Qigong.
Teresa lives locally and is also known in Marlow for her incredible healing workshops and healing 1:1 practise.
She is heavily involved in arranging events, retreats and other aspects for our community.

Mel Prosser
Mel has been with Wild Swan from the very first session.
Mel created and manages both our Facebook page and our Instagram account, which largely grew the community, getting us out there, from just a few of us to well over 400 already!
She has driven all our community’s multimedia, from articles, to links with other local groups, even to our local radio interviews.
Mel arranges all our venue hire when rain, or as a backup in case, and manages the donations here.
She is a Marlow resident from birth, and as a nutritionist, also widely known for working in Zen Health Foods Marlow.
Ian Souch (Guest Qigong Teacher)
Ian has been a member of our community since the first summer, and kindly covers classes for our group. He is an incredibly talented fellow across many different professions and disciplines!
He has been practising and teaching Qigong and Tai Chi for several decades, and has an incredible wealth of experience of both hard and soft styles. Ian is the go too man particularly for those additionally interested in hard forms and Tai Chi also.
Ian has attended and lead retreats across the globe, and is the founder and principle Teacher at his school, Bucks Tai Chi, where he holds regular weekly classes in and around Marlow.
He holds a diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), has studied fitness and physiology; and anyone who has seen his magic tricks, he has kindly performed at our Christmas parties etc, being a member of the Magic Circle, and a professional Magician also, has been left in amazement!

James has been with Wild Swan from the very first summer and is a long term resident of Marlow.
James is our go to expert on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), being a fully qualified and highly sort after Acupuncturist in private practise with over twenty years experience locally.
He manages the WhatsApp groups, helps with organisation, including raising money for hall hire, retreats, socials and events, covers Qigong sessions, and gives talks on TCM and deeper Qigong theory.
Many of our community have been referred to our group from James’ practise.
He too is well renowned for his amazing cooking and love of ecstatic dancing!

Phoebe Winter (Guest Sound Practitioner)
Phoebe joins Wild Swan Flowing River as a guest practitioner, offering sound healing to complement and deepen the Qigong experience.
Phoebe’s first session with us marked our one-year anniversary, a special gathering she feels honoured to have been part of. She loves playing the gongs in nature and being welcomed into such a beautiful community.
A qualified gong practitioner from the College of Sound Healing, Phoebe creates immersive sound journeys that invite deep rest, release, and reconnection.
Her sessions blend with the gentle flow of Qigong, supporting the movement of energy and a return to balance and inner calm.
